HABITAT CRAFTERS WORK HARD ALL YEAR
|
The 'Cumberland County Crafters for Humanity' work all year long to create fresh, new beautiful home decorations from donated items.
There are flower arrangements, pretty candles, baskets, wall hangings - all are one of a kind creations made fresh for you from
donations to the Habitat Home Store.
Come and see the reasonably priced special items at the Home store from Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Other popular painted furniture and home accessories will also be on the shelves at our regular great prices for you!

APOSTLES BUILD PROGRAM
|
Since Habitat is a Christian based organization, one of our natural partners is the church community.
Building a Habitat home provides the church an outlet for missions, fellowship and putting faith into action.
The Apostle Build Program is a new program at Cumberland County Habitat for Humanity.
It is designed to encourage churches to join in the ministry of providing affordable housing to those in need right here in Cumberland County.
As the 12 disciples of Christ launched Christ's work and transformed the world, groups of 12 churches are being mobilized to build homes to impact our community.
It takes about $60,000 to complete a Habitat home in this community, so each local church can pledge $5,000, thus enabling our affiliate to build one new home for each group of 12 churches.
